A Unique Blend of Intellect + Innovation + Compassion Is Lincoln Cannon

I have wanted to write about Lincoln Cannon, who founded Thrivous and the Mormon Transhumanist Association. The thing is, I can’t access the document with our interview transcript. That’s because Google has kept it from me. I also don’t have a laptop. And there’s more.

However, it’s been too long since Lincoln and I were in touch regarding the transcript. It’s time for me to write about him in some form or fashion.

Lincoln Cannon is a hard-to-find blend of intellect + innovation + compassion. I still remember the evening I learned about him, more than a decade ago (wow!). I read The New God Argument. I saw that Lincoln wrote it. I also remember requesting him as a Facebook friend right after finishing it.

I can attribute part of the intellect and worldview I have today to Lincoln’s writings.

I have also modeled a way Lincoln responds to Facebook commenters. It is so human-centered!
