Trump Anti-Trans Sports EO | ‘Males’ is Cruel Enough. Is ‘Men,’ Which Several Media & the White House Said, Open Hate Speech Towards Trans Girls & Women?
I’m a trans woman & not progressive, but really dislike reading & saying the latter word as it applies to me & other women.
“The Worldwide Leader in Sports,” ESPN, used “women” in at least one article about U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order barring transgender girls & women from playing women’s sports. (NBC News was among media that did the same.) Yet, outlets in big media markets, a national media outlet and the Trump administration were among the entities that used the term “men.” Was that open hate speech?

And since “men” are adults and girls are children, how is it accurate in that lane, too?
