Why the Surgery to Shave the Adam’s Apple Didn’t Happen for a Second Time Despite Being Scheduled

The first and foremost reason why I upheaved my life and moved to Los Angeles was so I could access gender-affirming care, following my realization that I’m a woman. I moved to the big city 21 months ago now. However, tracheal shave surgery, the surgery to make the Adam’s apple probably not visible, still hasn’t happened.

(Other surgeries haven’t been completed or haven’t even happened.)

And it didn’t happen for a second time after being scheduled.

I planned on having all gender-affirming surgeries done by the end of last year (2023). 1.7 have. (Of course, it’s the end of 2024 now.)
