This LA Rally Confirms Something I’ve Thought Was Probable Since Trump’s First Assassination Attempt (Photos)

Saturday, I did videos previewing articles. I wasn’t able to use the Glendale, Los Angeles location I planned (due to WiFi issues). However, when I got there (The Americana at Brand), an anti-Elon Musk rally was taking place in front of the mall’s Tesla store.

The rally (photos below) confirmed what I’ve thought was probable since the first assassination attempt of U.S. President Donald Trump and shortly after, texting someone about it. Gender non-conforming folks like me (and undocumented immigrants) need to leave America ASAP*. (I also wrote two days after the assassination attempt that “Trump has probably won this year’s U.S. presidential election.”)

The rally went into the early evening. I stumbled into it in the afternoon and saw a modest crowd.

In case you didn’t know, yes, Musk did the Nazi salute (twice). He may be attempting a hostile takeover of the U.S. government. He also owns Tesla.

I would definitely go on a date with this man. (photo credit: Alysha Scarlett)

I remember being honored in late 2017 or early 2018 that I was able to interview Musk’s Tesla spokesman (through email) for an article for the Rocket-Miner in southwestern Wyoming. I remember a couple of years prior to that, he was who came to mind only after Thomas Jefferson when my birth father asked who I admire.

How things can change, pretty quickly.

I took a video, but it won’t upload.

*Thing is, I must recover for two weeks after an orchiectomy scheduled for March 6 (in 10 days). (An orchiectomy is removal of the scrotum & testes — I despise those words; you’re welcome.) Thus, I can only continue my preparation of leaving on March 21, presuming I start now. Because I’m not giving up this surgery. (Also, I lost it four times in 16 months. After I upheaved my life 23 months ago to be able to get it and other gender-affirming care I haven’t gotten yet. Care like getting a tracheal shave, which hasn’t worked out twice now despite being scheduled.)
